WHO WE ARE

Jackie and Veronica are very passionate about helping others. Growing up on farms, helped build their foundation and understanding of the circle of life. They both feel deathcare and service is their calling and are very grateful for the opportunities they’ve had to serve many communities and faiths throughout Northeast Ohio over the years. They are ready to bring fresh ideas with new certifications to their surrounding communities.

JACKIE HEESE

Jackie Heese has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Ohio for 6 years and a certified celebrant for over four years. Jackie has a Bachelor’s degree in Science; prior to entering funeral service, she served as a medical technician in a fertility clinic. She is a fourth generation Hinckley resident and very proud to live where the Buzzards are famous! She has been married for three wonderful years to her supportive and loving husband, Mark Heese. Together, they enjoy family time, traveling, and watching the Cavs!

VERONICA THOMAS

Veronica Thomas has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Ohio for over 14 years and has served in Northeast Ohio during her entire tenure as a director. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, is a certified celebrant, and a published author for a children’s book on suicide, “Mommy’s Sandcastle.” Originally from Southern Ohio, Veronica has made Hinckley and the surrounding Metroparks her home. She is an ardent supporter of public servants; her husband Jonny is a firemedic, and she enjoys spending all her free time with him and their two beautiful children. When she is not serving others, she can be found near water and searching out the sun!
